It’s been a wonderfully busy week in Year 6, filled with hard work, creativity, and plenty of enthusiasm.

➗ Maths

The children have been revising key skills in preparation for their upcoming SATs, with a particular focus on long division. Their determination to refine these essential techniques has been brilliant to see.

✍️ English

In English, the class has been diving into the extraordinary life of Ernest Shackleton, crafting their own biographies about the famous explorer. The children have shown great curiosity and maturity as they explored his adventures and achievements.

📚 World Book Day

World Book Day was a real highlight. It was lovely to see the children arrive in such fantastic costumes, each one celebrating a character or story they love. A special thank you to those who took part in the water‑bottle book character challenge—the creativity on display was truly impressive.
