Maths: Exploring Ratio
In maths, the children have been developing their understanding of ratio. They have been learning how to compare quantities, simplify ratios, and use them to solve real-life problems. From mixing colours to sharing amounts in different proportions, the class has shown fantastic reasoning skills and growing confidence in applying ratio to a range of challenges.
English: Persuasive Letters
In English, we have begun exploring persuasive writing, with a particular focus on persuasive letters. The children have been identifying key features such as emotive language, rhetorical questions, strong arguments, and clear structure. Over the next few lessons, they will be planning and writing their own persuasive letters—using their voices to influence and convince!
