Clever Koalas - Summer 2 - Week 5

We begin this week this a huge WELL DONE to Katie for being chosen for Star of the Week! Katie has had a fantastic couple of weeks in school and has really been trying hard in all of her learning.  Katie has been participating in class discussions, sharing some excellent thoughts and ideas, congratulations Katie!

The weeks Star Writer is Julia!! Julia works incredibly hard every day to improve her writing, ensuring that her descriptions are accurate and that her spellings are correct.  Well done Julia!

The Koalas started the week with their end of year assessments – completing 3 maths test papers and a reading paper! They have also completed a maths diagnostic test on SumDog and a Star Reader quiz on Accelerated Reader! They have definitely been busy and all of them have worked to the best of their ability! Well done Koalas!

In Computing this week we have started a topic called ‘Game Creator’, this is on Purple Mash and on Wednesday we planned the characters that we were all going to use in our game.  Everyone is creating their own unique game and the theme for that game! We will finish these games at the beginning of next week, please ask your children to show them to you! I am sure they are all going to be so much fun!
