Clever Koalas - Summer 2 - Week 5

Congratulations to Theo for achieving Star of the Week this week! Theo has been working ever so hard during our assessment week and has tried his absolute best in ALL of his papers.  Well done Theo, you have been a superstar! 

Star Writer this week is Darcie-Rose! Darcie-Rose has written a fantastic letter to her future buddy and I am sure when they receive it they will feel very confident about starting their new school.  Great work Darcie-Rose!

This week has been our last assessment week in Year 5 – the children have all worked so hard on their maths and reading papers. We have seen some fantastic resilience and everyone has tried their absolute best!

On Friday this week we all took part in Reigate’s Bedtime Stories – we had lots of children come to school in their PJs and comfy clothes! Thank you to all the adults who were able to attend and share a story with their child on the school field.

We also had our final forest school session on Friday, where all the children enjoyed working in groups to create a shelter. The Koalas did amazing, we had some very dry shelters, some barbeques happening and even a drawbridge and armoury in some! See the photos below to see the fantastic teamwork!
