Welcome back to the last half term of Year 5! We hope you all had a fantastic half term and enjoyed the excellent, hot weather!
Star Writer this week goes to Jaxon who has written a superb Greek Myth, Jaxon really enjoyed this whole topic and used some brilliant topic vocabulary in his myth – well done Jaxon!
This week in English the Koalas have started a new topic – working towards writing a letter to inform and support the future Bears and Butterflies who will be starting at Reigate Park in reception in September. The children are super excited about writing these and explaining all about school to the upcoming reception children. This letters will hopefully help the new children’s transition and provide a buddy for them ready for September.
The Koalas have also completed their Hamlet script this week and have began to rehearsal for this and think about the staging, ready for our performance on 10th July at Derby Theatre. We have got some excellent ideas for the dialogue and movement on stage, we cannot wait to keep rehearsing!
