Clever Koalas - Spring 2 - Week 4

There were no certificates this week due to the school closure on Friday 20th March.

It has been assessment week this week in school with the children completing three maths papers and a reading paper consisting of a large text to read and answer questions on. The children all completed these tests with a good attitude and tried their best, well done Koalas!

We have also completed some digital art this week using their iPads and they have created their own quiz on Purple Mash all about the human life cycle. Please ask your children if you can have a go at these, they are fab! The children have used a range of question types and images to make their quizzes user friendly and engaging.

In PSHE this week we have been learning about the negative effects of drugs, smoking and alcohol. The children have very mature around this topic and asked some excellent questions. We explored how different substances effect the organs in the body and age restrictions on legal drugs.

On Thursday we supported Red Nose Day with all the children wearing red to school – thank you to everyone for their generous donations we will let you know when we know the total raised.
