Clever Koalas - Spring 2 - Week 2

Firstly, well done to Ellie for being awarded Star of the Week this week! Ellie is a fantastic member of the Koalas who always tries her best and wants to do well if everything that she does, an excellent role model. Very well deserved – well done Ellie!

Congratulations to Cooper for being chosen as our Star Writer this week –  he has been working so hard on his handwriting and really taking pride in his handwriting, super effort!

The Koalas continued their P.E programme with Tommy this week, which began with a conversation around screen time and screen use in bedrooms.  The children were also reminded about the importance of sleep and how they could still need up to 12 hours some nights! We then played a body game of rock, paper, scissors and felt our pulse to check our heart rate – hoping it was raised!

On Thursday this week we celebrated World Book Day, thank you to everyone who got dressed up, there were some fantastic costumes. Thank you also to everyone who created their own book character using a plastic bottle, the Koalas had a walk around school in the afternoon to look at all the different classes – they were excellent. Well done to Cooper for being chosen by JLT as the winning bottle from the Koalas.

An extra thank you to all the adults who were able to make it into school in the afternoon, the children really love seeing you in their classroom and showing you their learning environment.
