Clever Koalas - Autumn 2 - Week 6

Congratulations to Mason for receiving Star of the Week this week! Mason  started year 5 with a fantastic attitude and this has continued, he always tries his best and listens carefully to all the instructions he is given. Well done for always working to the best of your ability Mason !

Star Writer this week is Corey for an excellent planning map – they created a planning map of 3 sections for their setting description of the Moon! We are looking forward to reading the final piece, well done Corey!

On Thursday this week Reigate Park welcomed Stage-ed Panto and their performance of Cinderella. The children absolutely loved being involved with this – there was laughter and shouting a plenty! Some lucky children in our class were selected to join the actors on stage as part of the carriage and horses, well done to Alisa, Charlie, Theo S, Kyle and Cooper for being great sports.

In Maths this week we have been exploring different shapes, 2D and 3D! The children have enjoyed being hands on with the different shapes and investigating all the different properties, well done to those children who were also able to visualise the shapes using just a picture.

A big well done to everyone who took part in the nativity from EYFS and Key Stage 1, we were lucky enough to watch the dress rehearsal today and it was absolutely fabulous!
