Clever Koalas - Autumn 2 - Week 4

We start this weeks blog with a huge congratulations to Darcy for receiving Star of the Week this week, Darcy was chosen for her increased confidence in class and super contributions across the curriculum.  Well done Darcy, you are a fab member of the Koalas. 

Star Writer this week is Kristarnio, well done for your fantastic effort when writing up your report on space! 

The Koalas enjoyed a Science afternoon on Thursday this week exploring water resistance, air resistance and friction.  We spent the afternoon in the studio moving between different stations, these included making plasticine fish to check water resistance, building parachutes to explore air resistance and investigating different materials when moving cars down a ramp.   

In English we have been publishing our non-chronological reports ready to send off to the National Space Centre, the children have demonstrated excellent handwriting and drawing skills when decorating their reports.
