Cheetahs Class Summer 2 Week 3

Take a look at what Cheerful Cheetahs class have been learning this week ...

In English, we have been planning our own ‘Supertato’ story. We have created new fruit and vegetable characters and explored the problems that Evil Pea has created for them. We have had ‘angry cupcake, livid milk, embarrassed carrot and bitter watermelon'. We also came up with our own questions sentences such as: ‘Who will save me?’, ‘Who has pinched my icing?’

In maths, we’ve been learning all about solving missing number problems using our part-part-whole models. We have also learnt to draw arrays to help us solve our multiplication problems.

In topic, we have learnt about the different animal classifications such as mammals and amphibians. We have looked at the different characteristics that classify these animals into these groups such as mammals have hair or fur and amphibians have moist skin. We have also looked at sorting animals using a Carroll diagram.

Well done to everybody for their brilliant effort in our Sport’s Day and you made us incredibly proud!
