English

In English, we have been busy making lists of classroom objects around our classroom as part of our new book ‘If I built a school’. The children are now using these ideas to design their own fun and imaginative schools, filled with anything they can dream up.

Maths

In Maths, we have been working hard on multiplying, dividing, and exploring halves of shapes and numbers. The children have shown great determination and are beginning to explain their thinking more clearly.

Topic

Our Topic lessons have taken us back in time as we explored the Victorian era. We’ve been finding out how Victorians lived, what school was like for children, the kinds of entertainment they enjoyed, and how they spent their leisure time. A special well done to Alex, who created a wonderfully detailed mind map full of facts about the Victorians.

We had a fantastic day at Twycross Zoo and the children enjoyed seeing all of the animals.
