Cheetah Class Summer 1 Week 2
Date: 2nd May 2025 @ 2:31pm
Take a look at what Cheerful Cheetahs class have been learning this week ...
In English, we’ve been focusing on writing instructions on how to look after our very own fictitious plant! We have had some fantastic ideas such as ‘Stitch plants that need to be watered with blue slushie’ well done to Thea-Ivy for using her imagination to come up with such a wonderful plant!
In maths, we’ve been revisiting some key concepts. The children have been working on partitioning numbers, creating arrays, and beginning to understand multiplication through word problems. Well done to Harriet for her excellent grouping skills to solve division problems.
In topic, we’ve been discovering how plants are essential to both animals and humans e.g. providing us with shelter, food, and everyday materials. We’ve also been learning to name and identify the parts of a plant, and the children have loved exploring real-life examples and sharing what they’ve found out.
Star Writer – Logan D for his excellent attitude towards learning in English.
Star of the Week – Gracie-Mae for becoming more independent in her learning.
