English:
This week in English, the children have been busy writing a special letter to Miss Nancy, the 96-year-old lady from our class story Wilfrid Gordon McDonald Partridge. The class loved thinking about what they wanted to share with her and practised using their best writing skills.

Maths:
In Maths, we have been working on addition using hundred squares and number lines. The children have been learning how to bridge ten to help them solve addition number sentences more confidently. Well done to Finn who really grasped jumping forwards on his hundred square to solve his question.

Topic:
In our Topic lessons, we have been experimenting with colour mixing using paint. The children learnt about primary and secondary colours and explored making their own colour patterns.
