Butterflies Summer 2 Week 4

Take a look at the Brilliant Butterflies' learning this week...

 

In Maths, we revisited comparing numbers. We practiced saying which set of objects has more, less or equal and explored this in different ways. For example, we used the rekenrek to show a number that is more, less or equal to a number we were shown. 

 

In Literacy, we read the book ‘Clean Up’. We talked about how the story is set in Jamaica, looking at where this is on the globe. We learned about the climate and different sea creatures in Jamaica. Then, we wrote letters that included interesting facts about sea creatures.

After reading ‘Clean Up’, we learned about ways we can look after our world, just like the characters did in the story. Then, we created a poster to share ideas about how we can look after our school environment.
