Butterflies Summer 2 Week 3

Take a look at the Brilliant Butterflies' learning this week...

 

On Tuesday, we had a super day at Bluebell Farm! We loved meeting all the different animals on our farm tour, where we also got to stroke them and feed them. We also enjoyed learning more about the pigs and spraying them with the water guns to help them cool down! We even tried Bluebell's own vanilla ice cream and it was delicious! Thank you so much to all the parent volunteers who came on our trip too! 

 

In Maths, we are revisiting different key concepts we have learned this year: equal vs not equal, doubles, odds and evens.

 

In Literacy, we read the book ‘All Are Welcome’. We discussed diversity and how children have different heritage. We watched ‘Where in the World?’ and talked about the similarities and differences between lives of children around the world.

In PE, we learned about African Dances. We watched videos of African drumming and dance sequences and talked about the movements used. Then, we had a go ourselves!
