Butterflies Summer 1 Week 3

 

In Maths, we are focusing on subitising amounts up to six. We practiced subitising different representations of numbers and made links to our doubles learning.

 

In Literacy, we read the non-fiction text ‘I can grow a sunflower’. We talked about what sunflowers need to grow, then, wrote some instructions for how to grow a sunflower. The following day, we used our instructions to plant our very own sunflower seeds. We are excited to see how they grow! 

In the craft area, we also painted our own sunflowers. Everyone did a super job with this!
