Butterflies Spring 2 Week 5

 

In Maths, we are learning about odd and even numbers. We used the numberblocks to help us, knowing that flat, even tops means even numbers and odd blocks are odd numbers. We also talked about how even numbers can be shared equally between two people, but odd numbers cannot be shared equally. 

 

Literacy and Topic   

In Literacy, we read ‘Mrs Noah’s Garden’. We discussed what Mrs Noah had in her garden and what plants need to grow. Then, we wrote sentences to explain what was in her garden. In the craft area, we created the shells and flowers from the story, using bright spring colours.

As part of our Puddles and Rainbows topic, we talked about the weather we have in Spring. Then, we created a weather chart to represent the weather during the week. We saw lots of different weathers this week!
