Butterflies Spring 2 Week 3

In Maths, we are learning about the composition of number 7. Through nursery rhymes and using cubes, we explored different pairs of numbers that add together to make 7.

 

Literacy and Topic   

In Literacy, we read ‘Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs’ and practiced pronouncing the different dinosaur names. Then, we wrote about what special things we would put in our own buckets. In the craft area, we collaged a bucket from the story, using a variety of colourful tissue paper.

As part of our Dangerous Dinosaurs topic, we looked at pictures of armoured dinosaurs, that had spikes, plates and horns. We described them then created our own armoured dinosaur.
