Butterflies Autumn 1 Week 7

In Maths, we were learning all about patterns! We went on a pattern hunt to find different patterns in the environment. Then, we practiced continuing, copying and re-creating patterns, with colours, shapes and numbers.

We read the story A Place Called Home! We explored how houses around the world are similar or different to our homes in Derby. We talked about why they might be different and the differences in lifestyles around the world.

On Monday, we learned all about Autumn and went on an Autumn walk to spot signs of Autumn! Then, in the creative area, we created Autumn artwork. Using toilet rolls and paint, we printed pumpkins!
