Butterflies Autumn 1 Week 2

This week we have continued to enjoy exploring our learning areas, both inside and outside!

 

We began Phonics lessons this week. We focused on auditory discrimination and auditory blending skills. We were great at blending compound words together, for example, hearing 'butter' and 'fly', we knew the word was 'butterfly'! 

 

We also started Dough Disco. We enjoyed the different movements and made different shapes with the playdough. This will help our hands become stronger, ready for writing!
