Maths

In Maths, we revisited addition. We practiced reading and writing addition number sentences. Then, we used beanbags to help us find the answer. Elijah and Theo were really confident in finding the answers, even without the beanbags! 

Literacy

In Literacy, we read the story ‘The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch’. We talked about our own picnic and how this was similar or different to the picnic in the story. Then, for our writing task, we pretended to be Mr Grinling from the story, writing to Mrs Grinling to say thank you for the picnic she prepared! 

Topic

In Topic, we learned all about crabs! We read some facts and watched a video to see how crabs move. We also talked about the different body parts a crab has and compared different crabs. Then, we had a go at moving like crabs. Lockie and Godspower did some great crab impressions!

Sports Day

Thank you to all the parents and carers who came to Sports Day on Wednesday, it was lovely to see so many supporters! All the bears did an excellent job in their races and had lots of fun cheering their friends on!
