Bears Summer 2, Week 2

Maths

In Maths, we learned to count in 2s. We looked at a number square and discussed that when we count in 2s, we are saying the even numbers. We practiced counting in 2s and counted groups of objects, in 2s. Alice was really confident with this! 

Literacy

In Literacy, we read the story ‘At the Beach’. We discussed different things you can do at the beach and learned about postcards. For our writing task this week, we wrote a postcard to our family about a day at the beach. Theo and Arham had lovely ideas about beach activities. 

Topic

In Topic, we read the story ‘Clean Up’ and discussed how litter can affect the animals that live on beaches. We looked at different materials and what can be recycled to prevent littering.
