Bears Summer 1, Week 6

 

Well done Bears for another fantastic half term, everyone has worked really hard with all their learning! We hope everyone has a lovely break and we will see you back at school on Tuesday 2nd June. 

 

In Maths, we are focusing on numbers within 10 and making comparisons. We created number tracks, talking about the order of numbers. Then, we made comparisons, talking about which numbers were close together and which numbers were greater/less.

In Literacy, we are learning all about reflections this week! We read the story ‘Through the Magic Mirror’ and wrote about the funny things the boy saw in the mirror. We explored reflections through puddles, talking about how reflections can be distorted and why that is. We also learned about symmetry, using pictures of our own faces, which had been cut in half. We had to think about symmetry and draw the other half of our face!
