Maths

In Maths, we are learning about odd and even numbers. We learned that if a number can be shared equally, it is even. If a number cannot be shared equally, it is odd. We used beanbags and numicon to explore this. Caitlynne did an excellent job at remembering which numbers are odd and which numbers are even. 

Literacy

In Literacy, we looked at ‘All About the African Savannah’ information slides. We discussed that this is a non-fiction text and used a globe to explore where Africa is. We found the facts really interesting! 

Topic

For craft this week, we created animal masks. We selected an animal mask template and used different colours and materials to create the features. Everyone was very creative with their masks!
