Maths

In Maths, we are learning about one more and one less. We practiced counting and ordering numbers, then discussed that ‘one more’ is the next number and ‘one less’ is the number before.

Literacy and Topic   

One of our topics this half term is Dangerous Dinosaurs! We watched a video to learn about different types of dinosaur and key words like herbivore and carnivore, then we took it in turns sharing facts we knew about dinosaurs. We also looked at pictures of pre-historic animals. We talked about what we could see, described the animals and decided which ones were dinosaurs and which ones were not.

In Literacy, we read ‘If I had a dinosaur’ and talked about what pets we would have and if we would want a dinosaur pet. We then wrote a sentence to explain which pet we would like.
