Bears Autumn 2, Week 5

Take a look at the Brilliant Bears' learning this week...

On Monday, we helped prepare reindeer food for the Christmas Fayre! We enjoyed mixing the oats and sprinkles to make a tasty treat for the reindeer. We hope they visit us soon! 

Maths

In Maths, we are exploring how numbers up to 5 are made. Using cubes and part-part whole models we explored splitting numbers up in different ways. We also learned about two twos! We used cubes to explore that two twos is another way of saying 4!

Literacy and Topic   

In Literacy, we read the story ‘Jolly Christmas Postman’ and talked about times we give and receive gifts and cards. Then, we created our own seasonal card for a family member.
