Bears Autumn 2, Week 3
Date: 20th Nov 2025 @ 7:47am
Take a look at the Brilliant Bears' learning this week...
Maths
In Maths, we used cubes to think about how many one’s number 1-4 are made of. We also explored what number 1-4 are made of by using part-part whole models. Then, we thought about the order of numbers 1-5 and practiced discussed why they go in that order.
Literacy and Topic
In Literacy, we read ‘The Three Little Pigs’ and joined in with the repeated refrains. We discussed the characters in the story and came up with words to describe the pigs and the wolf. Then, we talked about what the characters from the ‘Three Little Pigs’ might say. We wrote a speech bubble for the wolf as a class and independently wrote a speech bubble for the pig. We also learned about capital letters and full stops.
Later in the week, we looked at different buildings from fairy tales. We described the buildings and compared similarities and differences between them. We used our imagination to draw who might live in these fairy tale buildings.
