Maths

In Maths, we are learning about what happens when you have one and another one. We used the sentence stem ‘1 and another 1 makes 2’ and used objects from around the classroom to show examples of this. Then, we had a go at drawing one of something and two of something and writing the numbers 1 and 2. Everyone did a super job with this activity! 

Literacy and Topic

This week, our focus has been on real life superheroes! It was lovely to see everyone dressed up on Monday and we really enjoyed talking about who we had come dressed up as and why. We also read the story 'Real Superheroes' by Julia Seal and ‘A superhero like you’ by Dr Raj. We talked about the different superheroes in our community and how they can help us.
