Harvest Festival:

Another year. Another Junior Leadership Team! A new academic year means more adventures and tasks for our JLT team to complete. Their first assignment was to promote to the school about the relaunch of the Harvest Festival Collection. JLT did fantastically at this assignment by encouraging their classes to bring donations in and by presenting the collection in a beautiful way in the reception area. Again, Vicky was overwhelmed by the amount of support Reigate Park Primary Academy had given! Vicky later got in contact with us to confirm that all the donations received were able to support up to 20 families in our local community.

Children in Need:

JLT did a fantastic job at raising awareness and money for Children in Need this year. Children were allowed to wear their favourite outfit to school and many children brought in money donations for the charity. Reigate Park Primary Academy raised an amazing £230.48. Great job everyone! All that money is going to support children throughout the UK.

Reverse Advent:

Again, JLT wanted to hep the local community out by teaming up with Vicky to collect food to help provide local families with a food hamper for Christmas time. JLT did a fantastic job of encouraging as many people as possible to contribute towards this great cause. Vicky came into school on Monday to collect the items all together and the JLT went the following Wednesday to help made food parcels and stockings. JLT again were super and manage to pack 20 food parcels and 30 stockings. JLT also supported their pledge of being Eco-warriors by recycling all the rubbish after creating the food parcels.
