Autumn 2026 Week 4

In Maths this week, we have been adding and subtracting numbers using the column method. We have used the RUSAC method to solve one-step and two-step worded problems 

This week in English, the children have been working hard to write, edit and publish their non-chronological reports about Roman Britain. 

We have continued reading History Hackers – Roman Rescue for Whole Class Reading. This week we have focused on our retrieval skills to look for clues to answer questions. 

In PSHE we learnt about respect and how to show it. In Topic we have looked at artefacts and learnt about Anglo-Saxon religion.
