Autumn 2026 Week 2

In Maths this week, we have been looking at Rounding 4-digit numbers. The children have been rounding to the nearest 10, 100 and 100. We have been recapping our 2-, 5- and 10-times tables. 

This week in English, the children have been looking at features of a non-chronological report. We have discussed that they need to have facts and sub-headings.  

In Topic, we have been learning about  the Anglo-Saxon Invasion of Britain. 

This week we voted for our class JLT member which will be announced next week. We also got to go on the BookBus and look at some lovely books. 

Swimming Lessons start next week (Monday 21st September)
