Autumn 2025 Week 6

In Maths this week, we have been looking at geometry. The children have explored different triangles and their properties. They have identified quadrilaterals and how to draw and classify them. The children have enjoyed using mirrors to investigate lines of symmetry on regular and irregular shapes. 

During this week in English, the children continue working on a narrative. We have drawn and described our main characters and thought about where our narrative will be set. 

In Spanish we have continued the topic ‘Me Presento’. The children have learned how to ask each other how old they are and how to respond. 

For Black History Month, we have been learning about Katherine Johnson and how she had an impact on NASA.
