Autumn 2025 Week 4

In Maths this week, we have been adding and subtracting numbers using the column method. We have used the RUSAC method to solve one-step and two-step worded problems 

This week in English, the children have found out that they would be writing a narrative to entertain visitors to the Jovic Centre. The children looked at what features make a narrative. 

We have continued reading History Hackers – Roman Rescue for Whole Class Reading. This week we have focused on our retrieval skills to look for clues to answer questions. 

In PSHE we learnt about respect and how to show it. In Computing, with have started looking at the parts of a computer and what they are used for. 

Next Wednesday (8th October) is our Times Tables Parent Engaement Session. Please join us if you can from 2:45- 3:15 to learn more.
