Autumn 2 Week 5

Date: 7th Dec 2023 @ 4:55pm

The Super Sharks have had another busy week!

On Monday morning, we recieved an urgent notification about giants destroying  forests and fields around the world. Sir David Attenborough taught us some shocking facts about deforestation and now it is our mission to write to the giants to inform them of the damage they are causing.

In maths, we have been learning about different measures. We learnt to measure mass in grams and volume in ml. Tomorrow, we will learn to measure length in cm.

In topic this week, we have been exploring hot and cold climates. Did you know Lapland has six snowy months in winter? In the middle of winter,  the sun doesn’t rise at all, and the Northern Lights sometimes appear in the sky.

On Tuesday, we had a very special treat, we watched a pantomine! We loved joining in with all the singing and dancing.
