Autumn 2 - Week 2

Date: 14th Nov 2025 @ 8:36am

Week 2:

In English this week, the children have been researching facts about the human skeleton. They have taken key vocabulary and facts, from their research, to plan for their own fact files that they will be writing next week. The children chose three topics of the human skeleton, to research using websites and other fact files.

In Maths, the children have continued to develop their skills and understanding of the column method, for addition and subtraction. This week, we have been focusing on exchanging and borrowing. The children have worked hard on this and are starting to understand the key concepts of this method.

In Science this week, we have been learning about the importance of joints. The children completed an investigation this week where they were learning how joints in the body work and why we need them.
