Autumn 1 Week 7

This week, our Year 3 pupils have had their first assessments, showing their fantastic fingerspelling skills.  Using their iPads, the children filmed themselves fingerspelling their name and then the whole alphabet.  They worked hard to remember the correct handshapes and positions, especially for those tricky vowels and using both of their little fingers for the letter S.  Their receptive skills were also checked, with them writing the letters and short words that had been spelt to them.

Fingerspelling practise was also had with games of snakes and ladders.
