Autumn 1, Week 2

Well done for another fantastic week! 

This week, the children have been working hard counting forwards and backwards from 20. I am so impressed with how well you have remebered the number order from last week! 

In English, we started our new unit of work based around the book, 'The three little pigs'. We used our phonics to help us sound out the materials the pigs used and wrote sentences using a capital letter and full stop. 

In Topic, we started our new project called 'Marvellous Materials'. We explored different materials and their properties. The children had fun sorting the materials into different categories and they had a great time going on a material hunt around the classroom.
