Alligators week 4

This week in Year 6, we have been working incredibly hard as we prepare for our SATs. The children have shown fantastic determination, focus, and resilience throughout a full week of practice papers in reading, grammar, and maths. Each day, they have approached challenges with a positive attitude and a real desire to improve, and we are very proud of their efforts.

We have been particularly impressed with how the class has supported one another—sharing strategies, encouraging their peers, and celebrating progress, no matter how big or small. It has been wonderful to see their confidence growing as the week has gone on.

In the afternoons, we took some well-deserved time to relax and get creative with art. The children explored different techniques and materials, producing some beautiful and thoughtful pieces. These sessions have been a great way to unwind, express creativity, and recharge after a busy morning of learning.

Overall, it has been a fantastic week. Well done, Year 6—keep up the brilliant work!
