Summer 1 Week 3

In maths, we have been practising answering arithmetic questions using mental methods. We know how to use pictorial methods to prove and check our answers. 

In English, we have written and published a recount of our Monarch day. We have worked really hard to improve our handwriting. Irene has published her first piece using a pen- well done!

In topic, we have continued to learn about different Monarchs. We have researched why Queen Victoria was important and found out lots of interesting facts. Did you know, Queen Victoria started the tradition of decorating Christmas trees?
