Spring 2 - Week 3

CONGRATULATIONS to Jaheim for achieving Star of Week this week for his super effort with all of his writing and excellent use of vocabulary.

A big well done to Freddie for getting Star Writer this week and really focussing on improving his handwriting.

Dolphins started the week with an exciting Spanish dance class to link with our Spanish learning in class - the children thoroughly enjoyed this and some great moves were seen!

In maths we revisiting long multiplication which involves lots of steps for the children to remember - well done for perservering year 3 and continuing to push yourselves to feel confident with this method.

In Topic we started a new unit called 'People and Places' this is an Art topic where we began looking at figurative forms and sketching a self portrait, the children worked hard on this and definitely produced more acurate ones than Mrs Dewsbury!

On Thursday we had a parental engagement on handwriting and what a handwriting session in the Dolphins looks like, thank you so much for Edward's, Freya's, Alyssa's and Afolarin's parents for attending this.

We are excited about Red Nose Day and the children sharing some of their jokes!

Finally, a big thank you to everyone for attended parents evening this week, it was lovely to see you all!
