Spring 2 Week 3

Another fun filled week in Reception! 

We enjoyed starting the week with our 'Stay and Play' session. Thank you to all the parent's/Carer's for helping their children design and create some wonderful kites! The children had great fun with this activity and carried on making these throughout the week! 

The children have worked hard in maths learning about addition. We began practically by counting two groups of beanbags to see how many we had altogether. We then moved on to reading and writing number sentences. Well done to Freddie for working hard on this! 

In Literacy, the Butterflies have loved exploring the story 'Dear Dinosaur' This generated lots of questions that the children would like to find out about dinosaurs. Jakob thought of some great questions which we researched by visiting Google. 

Another busy week! Well done Butterflies :)) 

Well done to Noah for being this week's 'Star of the Week'
