SALVE! This week we had a Roman day thinking about what it would be like living in Pompeii in AD 79. We learnt the story of Pompeii and told our stories to each other. It was like being an actor on the stage in Pompeii. We learnt to weave and we added Vesuvius to our woven canvasses. Have a look at some of our pictures below. In Spanish we learnt about Los Animales. We can now say the names of 5 animals in Spanish - el conejo, el cerdo, el caballo, el parajo and el leon. In maths we have been learning about right angles. In science, we have learnt about magnetism. We investigated forces too. Finally, we were introduced to the Nutcracker Suite by Tchaikovsky. We drew how the music made us feel.
