Spring 2 - Week 1

Welcome back to everyone!!

We hope you all had a lovely half term break and enjoyed some of the sunshine that we had!

A big well done to Reuben for achieving Star Writer this week! 

On Tuesday we had a fantastic day in Year 3 with our Roman Day, thank you so much to everyone who made the effort to dress up, the Dolphins looked fantastic! All the children thoroughly enjoyed the day, especially orally retelling The Story of Pompeii - Freddie particularly shined during this! We all created our own colourful weaves which look excellent! 

We started a new topic in Spanish this week - Animals! The Dolphins are super exciting to learn more animals names.

In Maths we have started some new learning about angles, we have idenitified right, acute and obtuse angles. 

In Science we have been investigating with magnets and forces. This has been very very exciting for the children, they have loved exploring different magnets and measuring the force using a newton meter. 

Next week is World Book Day, we are excited about more dressing up!!
