Spring 1 Week 1

Happy New Year to all our Parent's and Carer's.  Reception have had a very busy first week back! 

In Maths, we have been looking at different ways to make a given number. The children have enjoyed playing 'Bunny Ears' to show this. Kolt was very good at showing lots of different ways to make 5 using his fingers - Well done Kolt. 

The children have enjoyed exploring our new topic 'Starry Night' This week we have focussed on Space. Our story of the week 'The Way Back Home' was all about a boy who goes to space in an aeroplane and meets a Martian. They discover they need each other's help. Loki  thought of great ideas of how they could help each other - What a superstar! 

It has been wonderful listening to what the children got up to over the holiday. They sound like they had a great time!
