Autumn 2 - Week 7

Wow, what a wild and windy week! 

First of all CONGRATULATIONS to Ollie for achieving Star of the Week this week, he has been working super hard on writing the best Fact File he can and checking it again and again to make sure that it is perfect.

Well done to Naelle for achieving Star Writer for an excellent effort, also with her Fact File. 

The Dazzling Dolphins have had an excellent week, enjoying lots of different activities and getting very festive.

On Monday the Dolphins walked to the Co-Op to perform some songs in the community. We were so thankful for everyone who came and walked down with us and to those who also watched outside the shops. It was a fantastic turn out and we managed to raise £56 from contributions from the public! Well done Year 3!

On Tuesday we completed a day of Design and Technology, the children absolutely loved created and tasting their Healthy Tacos. We were very impressed with lots of children trying a range of different foods and some that they had never tried before!

On Thursday we completed our writing in English and now have some brilliant Fact Files all about Skeletons.  We all pulled a cracker with our Christmas dinner and enjoyed all eating together in the hall. In the afternoon we had our class party, the Dolphins enjoyed their snacks and squash after some very competitive games of musical statues! We then moved onto charades and saw some excellent miming!!

Mrs Dewsbury and Mrs Miller would like to wish everyone an absolutely amazing festive break, enjoy spending time with friends and family and hopefully spreading kindness and happiness wherever you go!
