Autumn 2 - Week 6

What a busy and exciting week this has been!

First of all well done to Reuben for achieving Star of the Week this week, he received the award for his superb increase in his concentration and effort in lessons, particularly in maths where he is really shining at the moment.

Also, well done to Leonard for receiving the Star Writer this week. 

Lots of our class who are in the school choir participated in singing with the community earlier this week, well done to your commitment and being a fantastic credit to the Dazzling Dolphins.

In maths this week we have been continuing our work with time, moving onto understanding the calendar and hours in the day - even though the days are extremely short at the moment!

During our Topic work in the afternoons the Dolphins have been taking part in a Geography topic, they have been learning all about what their Carbon Footprint is. The children worked in small groups to create a poster all about how to reduce your carbon footprint, from turning off lights when you are not in a room to walking / biking to school if you are able. They were brilliant! 

One week left at school, only 10 more advents to go!
