Data Protection statement
The Academy holds information on pupils to support their teaching and learning, to monitor and report on their progress, to provide appropriate pastoral care, and to assess how well the school as a whole is doing. This information includes contact details, National Curriculum assessment results, attendance information, personal characteristics such as ethnic group, special education needs and any relevant medical information. From time to time schools are required to pass on some of this data to Local Authorities, the Department for Education (DfE) and to agencies that are prescribed by law, such as Ofsted, the Department of Health (DH) and Primary Care Trusts (PCTs)

Freedom of Information
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 came fully into force on 1 January 2005. The Act is intended to promote greater openness and accountability by providing a general right of access to information held by public authorities.

Reigate Park Primary Academy has issued its publication scheme as a guide to the type of information we routinely publish.

Before making a request, please look at the publication scheme (available from the school) to see whether the required information is included. If the information you wish to see is not included within the scheme, you are still able to make a request under the general right of access.
